You know of the feeling
that unveils the sky's revealing,
in sweet dances of butterflies
carried away with wild delight.
You know of love,
that stirs the soul in fleeting flight,
that runs like rivers from above,
climbing palms in fearless height.
You know the slow walk toward the fair,
the tenderness that softly glides,
though wordless in its quiet stare,
where beauty fades, yet still abides.
You know how to guide the ship
on open seas against the wind,
toward a joy too vast to grip,
but still a lover of time within.
You know how to calm the wound
of fears piled up in silent throngs,
you even mend the backward route
to tear the soul’s forgotten bonds.
